Second Hatch
The second egg hatched sometime today. We haven't had time to figure out exactly when, but here is a dramatic family portrait. Mr. Owl sort of lost his balance and fell into the box while delivering a lizard. In the foreground is Mrs. Owl, 2 fuzzy owlets, and the remaining egg.
I think we saw Mr. Owl (it was a screech, if not our Mr. - how big are their territories?) in the backyard the night before last. We have plenty of geckos attracted to the porch lights, so maybe that is where he is getting his prey!
